The Mindful MD Mom accepts guest posts and want to showcase your unique perspective as a writer.  If you have a story on topics relating to mindful, intentional living and/or authentic ah-ha moment(s) that you feel our readers would enjoy, we’d love to hear from you!

What to write about?

The Mindful MD Mom blog is about empowering its readers and supporting them through various stages of life: personal, professional, parenting, wellness.

Our readers enjoy mindfulness so share your voice and experience with it: personal anecdotes, mindful eating, conscious parenting, tips on life-work balance, self care, personal development, etc!  Please add some your personal stories/experiences, expertise, and background in the article so readers can connect with the writer (you). Evidence based information is appreciated so please cite reputable sources.

Guidelines

We request contributing authors submit original content that will be exclusive to The Mindful MD Mom site. Posts must not have been published on other sites, blogs, or slated for other sites. The contributing author will be retain credit for writing but content will be property of The Mindful MD Mom.

Want to share an article that has already been published?

If authors would like to submit articles that have been previously published elsewhere, please let us know.  We want to give credit where credit is due and link back to original site (including blog).

Article Length & Author Info

Article length is between 500-1000 words.

Please send author bio including social media channels so readers know where to find you.

FAQs

Can I add links back to my site?

Yes, in author section. Pertinent links and/or links to reputable sites are generally accepted. However, the links are subject to discretion to the editorial team. Submitting or publishing an article does not guarantee do-follow links in body of article.

Do you accept articles from ghostwriters and/or links back to products or sites?

Guest posts are aimed to amplify voices and showcase your talents as a writer. We are not looking for ghostwriters.

If you’d like to advertise a product/brand/company, there is ad space and other options available on the blog. Please send us an email requesting rates for ads and/or other collaboration options.

When will I hear back if my article is accepted/not accepted for publication?

If your article is accepted for publication, you will hear back within 2 weeks. If you do not hear back in 2 weeks, please feel free to submit elsewhere as it may not be a good fit at that time. We’d love read your articles so even if a particular one wasn’t accepted, please send others.

If I don’t hear from you in the 2 week waiting period, would sending repeat emails help?

We love hearing from our readers and writers! However, we are a small team and receive many emails so please do not keep sending repeat emails if you don’t hear from us within the 2 week period.

Once accepted, what is the timeline for publication?

Usually 2-4 weeks! We’ll sent you the link after publication.

Can I send pitches or full articles?

Full articles preferred. If you are unsure what topics to send, feel free to send pitches but have a topic in mind.
